FAQ's
How soon can I do my aviation medical assessment?
- As soon as we have received all of the documentation we capture your information on the CAA’s EMPIC electronic system. We can then schedule your appointment according to the SACAA requirements, we aim to get you in within a few days!
- It’s always better to book in advance if you are looking for specific days, this makes it easier for us to assist
- We take bookings weeks in advance
When will I receive my medical certificate of fitness?
- The medical as immediately submitted to SACAA via the EMPIC electronic system
- If you pass all the medical requirements your certificate will be printed immediately
What happens if I fail the visual screening test? Will I still get my certificate?
- We will not be able to issue the certificate immediately, we will be able to issue the certificate once have corrective reading glasses
